Changing game resolution out of gam

One day I was playing warrior kings: battles and decided to beef up the perfortmance vs quality settings, and the game said it was restarting the graphics drivers then my screen turns off and i'm pretty sure it just set the graphics to a resolution my monitor couldn't support, so I alt+F4'd it but now everytime I go into into the game it just turns off my screen, I've tried uninstalling the game and re-installing it but that doesn't work. Does anybody know how to change the resolution the game starts at, without actually opening the game

be sure to get rid of old folder after uninstall. if u still have a problem.

you can go to the location of the registry of the game and change it from there, at least you can with CS

start>run>type "regedit" in the box>for counter-strike you go...HKEY_CURENT_USER>software>valve(comapny name)>counter-strike(game name)>settings
so just replace the company name with the games company name, then follow the rest. you might find it, but not all games put the same stuff in the registry in the same place.

Remember not to mess with the registry, doing so could cause serious problems.
