Hi, I'm new to these forums so don't make fun of me please. I have a problem with my newly perchased LOTR: Battle For Middle-earth. They keep on saying CD/DVD Emulation Software has been detected. Disable all cd/dvd emulation software and re-set this application or something like that. Anyways, I need help. Can someone help me please. I've been looking forward to playing this game for a few months now. Middle-earth. can somehelp me? I have CloneCD and Nero Burning and I am wondering if they are also affiliated with cd/dvd emulation software. If so, can I temproarily disable it so that I may use it next time because I dont have the discs to install them. :(

Uninstall CloneCD and try the game again.

Works great now although my comp is a bit slow often lags but none the less at least I am able to play LOTR:BFME now. Thanks dude.

Um...I don't have CloneCd but i have nero. I have the same problem. Should I uninstall Nero?

I have the same problem i keep gettin the exact same message time and time again!! I no longer have CloneCD and it still does nto work!!! what can i do I have paid alot of money for the sims 2 and i cannot play it!! Please Please Please help me i dotn no what to do!!! plz reply!!!
