Can't play online through router

I have Linksys wierless router (BEFW11S4) I have my home pc and a wireless laptop running onit and I can't play online games when running through it, not sure how to set it up to play with America's Army, or other online games

First thing you need to do is find out what ports are required for internet gaming, then you will need to open the router firmware and port forward those ports you need to have open. here is the tricky part, you can only open ports for one ip address so choose the computer you wiss to use most and open those ports for that ip, if you want to you can dmz your laptop if it's not connected to the internet 24/7, however dmz comes with risk, you are running wide open and all your ports are open to hackers.
