Cannot locate cd rom-BF 1942

Hi i downloaded battlefield 1942 cd image files for both cds. I mounted the images by using DAEMON TOOLS. The installation was succesfull. But when i click on the "play" icon the loading screen comes up but in a coupple of seconds a message pops up "Please insert the correct CD-ROM,select OK and resart application" and the message is labbled "Cannot locate the CD-ROM". i don't know what to do plzz help.

why dont ya go ahead and buy the REAL, LEGIT cd's then it will work

The game can tell the difference between a real CD and a forgery. Insert an original CD and you'll have no trouble.

its not a law geez its something that bill gates SAId to be a law but if ur in canada(lucky if u r) that so called law means nothing screw bill gates :)
Fair enough if you live in Canada. However as far as I know the servers run stuff that protects against cheats in BF1942 - we tried to play online by installing the same BF1942 on 3 LAN computers and connecting to the net. No joy - illegal connection message. So we all bought Half-Life and downloaded Day of Defeat instead! (HL = $20, DoD free from almost anywhere!)
