I heard of certain programs that do that i am unsure though. ffs why dont you just get a PS2? why have you even got the game if you havent got a PS2? and i am pretty sure it is illegal to play PS2 on your pc.

You can turn your back on a person, but never turn your back on a drug, especially when its waving a razor sharp hunting knife in your eye.

Do a google search for PS2 emulator. You need software to "emulate" a PS2 environment. However, as stated above, the legality of it is questionable - it will depend upon where you live.

i think legality depends on whether you ahve paid for the game or whether you downloaded it but dont count me on it. also your better of buying a ps2 because some of the emulators i have used have been laggy, picture quality not very good, sometimes no sound and worst of all errors. you go looking fo rthe game youve been after for ages buy it try to use it and you gert an error saying this game cannot b displayed. i have now given up on emulators and find it easier to buy the consoles. ps2's now are only what 130 british pounds n bout 60 british pounds if you get them used. also beware you may not be able to sdave the game with an emulator.

Don't bother. Buy a PS2 on eBay for like $30.

I agree with the above 2 posts. Emulators for newer consoles pretty much suck. Errors and bad graphics. I experimented with a PS2 Emulator once before but all the games wouldent display colour, there were parts of the games that just didnt work (Things appeared there but didnt do anything) and it really bogs down your system even though a PC's spec from years agao is better than a PS2. Maby even buy a second hand PS2 to play it. If you really want to try an emulator google should have plenty for you to tool with..

Thanks guys for ur different views on Emulators?

I wanted to play these two great games so I rented the DVDs for a week hoping that I may be able to play it on PC somehow?

After reading various articles/forum on emulator, I thought its not a good idea to play on EMUs after all.

Buying a PS2 is out of question. First of all they are not available in my place. Secondly, i will wait for PS3 and Xbox 360!!

Above all I prefer playing games on PC than any console.

Any ways Thanks again for ur replies.

The PS2 emulator sucks. If I remember right, it's called the pcxs2, but I can't remember for sure. The newer emulators suck, and it's very hard to find working ROMs for these emulators. A good one that I use a lot is the Project64 Nintendo 64 emulator and the SNES9x SNES emulator. It's very easy to find working games for both these, and they both work very well.

Fed up with Windows? Try Ubuntu Linux

Why is buying a PS2 out of the question? For less than the price of one of those DVDs you could buy a secondhand PS2 off of eBay or even a CD store downtown or something.
