Reply: (edit)You're gonna need a new CPU. That's a little too slow. Will your motherboard allow you to upgrade? RAM as well as suggested. I'd get a new motherboard, CPU, fan, RAM, personally. MCSE, MCSA Messaging, baby!

Reply: (edit)none of the system can keep up with new games. technology improves everyday. thats why we need to upgrade. and i am sure far cry is not your choice. your system is too slow. well you can run it, but the game play will be so slow and graphic will be terrible.i am not sure Far Cry is CPU-bound game(faster CPU, better performance) or not, if its CPU-bound game, even you got the geforce 6800GT, the game wont improve much with your 1.14GHZ AMD CPU. Reply: (edit)What motherboard do you have & what is a "1.14 AMD Athlon"? To the best of my knowledge, there is no such CPU. Did you mean 1.4GHz? Is it possible that you have something else & the FSB is just set incorrectly? Download CPUZ 1.28, unzip, then click on CPUZ.exe. Report back with your CPU info: http://www.cpuid.org/cpuz.php#download Your video card is sufficient for now, but you should upgrade your RAM to at least 512MB.
