Specs: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
My Specs are

Processor: Core 2 Duo E7400 @ 2.8GHZ
HDD: 160GB
GRAPHICS: Nvidia 9400GT (512MB)

The game worked fine on full max settings on Windows XP SP3 (32BIT) on this same computer but can it run on Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Should I add 2 more gigs of RAM?

"The game worked fine on full max settings on Windows XP SP3"

That's surprising considering the 9400GT doesn't meet the minimum requirements.

"Should I add 2 more gigs of RAM?"

It wouldn't hurt, but a video card upgrade may be more beneficial.

I don't believe u. U need 1gb of video memory to run gta iv maximum + there are settings u need to adjust.
Upgrade v-card.

From your other post that will *probably* be deleted:

"256 MB Nvidia 7900GT (I have 9400GT 512MB)"

The 7900GT is older but it's a higher end card that uses 256-bit GDDR3 memory. The 9400GT may be newer but it's low end card that uses 64-bit or 128-bit memory, either DDR2 or GDDR2. There's no comparison...the 7900GT is MUCH better. I find it very hard to believe that you were able to play GTA IV "on full max settings" with the 9400GT.

Try this:

I installed the game and it worked fine on default. I did not interfere with the settings. Thanks everyone. Jam thank you for

I finished the game with a intel dual core e5400 2,7 ghz, 2 gb ram, and a poor 1 gb 9400gt graphics card at 800*600 resolution and medium setting, v sync turned off. it worked fine. never tried on 7.
