can $1500 build a Crysis PC?

Of course so! you could get a very nice processor, mobo, and video card with that, if you want to know specs jstu let us know, and no you dont need vista, the only thing is Dx10 but that doesnt add that much better graphics so

You can spend half that and still run Crysis smoothly.
