I kind of had the same problem. When I tried to play c@c 3 it would get to the splash screen and it would give me a error code (1000) please insert game disk one something like that. How I got it to work I used a CD-R cleaner and then I use a Compressed Gas duster on the tray and in side of the Cd-rom and don’t ask me how but it fixed it. If you have any antivirus software true it off and see if that helps. Also try a clean boot go to start run type msconfig then ok that should bring up a window called system configuration utility. At the top of the window look for this (Diagnostic startup-load basic devices and services only) click it the click ok it would ask you to restart let it. This will true off all your programs antivirus spy ware ect. If this doesn’t work go to http://support.ea.com/cgi-bin/ea.cf... or call EA and see if they can help. I hope this helps good luck.
lol! dude, at least you can see the splash screen. i dont. when i click on running the game. nothings happen, all i heard is the HD loading crazy and my CPU usage goes up to 80%, sometimes 100. i cant close it because i cant find it on task manager. i must restart the pc every time i try to run the game.
