C&C Generals problem

CPU/Ram: P4 3.0 ghz, 512 mb

I just got C&C Generals and for whatever reason the cursor on my screen keeps flashing. Does anyone else have this game and have this problem. It is really anoying cause i can't really see where my cursor is unless i move it. Can anyone help?

You've either got a bad monitor, screen resolution or there is sonmething wrong with the Compact Disc (if its copied)

Sounds to me like some sort of transparency or layering problem. Turn all the graphics down then back on one by one till you find the cause.
Also I have two monitors on my GF4 Ti if I forget to turn the second off in control panel before I play Generals does some strange things such as weired scrolling and flashing cursor.
