call of duty problem

I seem to have problems with my call of duty game it seems to load go down bottom of screen and stick for about 1 minute then load up. Before it used to load straight away quick with no problems now it sticks down bottom and takes about 1 min like its a non responsive program it still loads but takes time.It so strange in the fact that all i have done was shut pc and come back the next day.I have tryed re install but no luck any ideas help would be appreciated thanks.

Is your harddrive almost full? did you add any new hardware? Also, you might want to defragment your hard drive to improve loading times, and always scan for viruses and spyware. Also, list your PC specs please...

yeh my hard drive only has 10gb left on it its a 60bg hard drive i have done no defrag.Also i changed from my router back to my old bt modem voyager seems that problem has occured then i think not to sure.Anway have 2.4ghz amd athlon 2x 256 184 pin ddr 400 in and a 60gb hard drive and 128mb geforce fx 5900 xt card.
