Hi,

i am having a problem with call of duty 2. it will run fine a a little while and then just freeze on me. i have all the latest drives and such and i dont know the problem... help please!

as an update...

event viewer lists the following events that occur just as the game freezes:

-Creative Service for CDROM access
-Diskeeper
-WMDM PMSP Service
-Security Center
-Forceware Intelligent Application Manager
-Bonjour Service

these all happen within two seconds of each other at the point of freezing

It would be nice to know what the event codes and texts are.

Have you patched CoD2 to the latest version?

Looks like all your services stopped. Whatever the problem was causes these services to stop and restart. In other words, I don't think this is related to your problem as a cause; these are simply more effects of whatever is causing your problem.

In fact, when you say the game freezes...do you have to reboot the machine?

If so, this is part of the boot procedure, and is not related to the freezing.

Two questions:

1. Are you overclocking? If so, go back to stock speeds to see if the problems go away.
2. What is the make and model of your power supply?
