ok i am really starting to get pissed and so is my friend that is helping me. we just made a crossover cable and we are having problems bridging our connections for halo 2. in my computer we have 2 network cards that both work, but when i plug the xbox (crossover) cable into 1 of them it says that the cord is disconnected, and with any other cord to the xbox. can someone please help me?

How did you make the crossover? (what order of wires on both ends?)

brownnow thats looking down at the side without the tab... from left(top) to right(bottom)now in a crossover you just switch the oragne and green wires... so

brownthats what we learnd in class (votech) so ya.. i did end up pulling out notes..cuz i didnt wana look like a dumb....ya on here
now ive tryed this too.. the pc just dont find the xbox... now ive know of other people doing this.. they jsut use switchs... i can tell you cross overs are to link like devices (pc to pc) ..and strait trews to link differant devices (switch to pc) so mabey try a strait trew... luck...dont be dumb, look it up first... it cost alot less.
