i recently purchased black and white for pc,i can't seem to get black and white to run under 95/98 compatiblity mode,if anyone has any other suggestions,it would be greatly appreciated.

try updating to version 1.1. although my friend had similar problems with b&w and winXP...maybe they just rnt compatible.
