I have played Bioshock on my XP machine before, now playing it on a vista machine. I want to access the cheats but can't find the installation folder. It appears that vista did not install the game on the hard drive but is running it through the CD ROM drive. I can't find any Bioshock folder, either in "programs" or on my hard drive. How do you access the cheats on a Vista machine. Thanks in advance for any responses.

There isn't a folder in your My Documents? If this is the case I would install the game again because, at least to my knowledge, no game will run exclusively off of the CD, you have to install it to the hard drive even though you need the CD to run it. There should be a Bioshock Folder in your My Documents with a notepad or something else like that in it, at least that's the way Fallout 3 works. Have you looked for a folder under the game makers name? Usually there isn't a say Bioshock folder on it's own in Programs, it's under the manufacturers name.

There is a "Bioshock" folder in My Documents, but that folder consists only of a "saved games" folder, nothing else is there. Nothing with 2K (the manufacturer) either, it appears that the game is only off the CD, not from my hard drive.
