Everytime I join a server in Battlefield 2142 I get kicked with an errormessage saying 'PUNKBUSTER'. Can anyone explain why this happens? Does it have anything to do with the servers I play on?

Thanks for any help!

There is a big problem at the moment with people being kicked by Pukbuster due to "losing key packets". Maybe you have the same problem? Try updating punkbuster and make sure you allow any related processes through your firewall (if you have one).

Thanks that was the problem! I checked the pb\pbcl.log file under the directory where BF2142 was installed, and googled the error message. I found out how to fix it at:
