Hi guys. Ok I know this subject has been done probably a hundred times. Just want some advice on the BF2 requirements. I have seen the `minimum` and `recommended`. Here is what I have - Pentium 4 1.7/1 Ghz of 266 PNY ram/NVidia 4400 Ti gfx/Soundblaster Live 5.1
Ok I know the NVidia card is the main killer here. What do you think would be a decent but cost effective upgrade for BF2? Secondly, if I upgrade `just` the vid card - do you think the rest of my sys will run the game decently? I don`t want to make too many concessions ie turning half the options off or down so would a puny P4 1.7 and a new card give me an entertaining time at BF2?

If you want the graphics options, you're gonna need a better CPU, too. What you decide to do about the CPU should be decided first. If you're gonna replace the motherboard to upgrade the CPU, you should go ahead and jump to PCI-e.
