BF1942 Restarts System

I got restarts or hangs during BF1942. I have Biostar NForce mobo, and ATI 9600 pro. I tried 2 sets of DDR, 2 different power supplies, 2 separate hard drives, and 2 different CD Drives. I reinstalled WinXP, and during game it restarted, and I didn't even get an entry in Event Log.

Setup XP to not automatic restart on system failure. [My computer-properties/advanced tab/startup recovery settings button/ uncheck automatically restart]
This should give you a blue screen rather than a restart and may give you a clue as to which file is causing you greif.

Summary: sounds like your cpu is overheating it shouldnt get above approx 60-62c the reason it shuts down or restarts is your cpu will automatically shut your system to prevent your cpu burning out...check al ...
