Reply: (edit)The 6800XT/6800LE are both cut down versions of the vanilla 6800 and in almost all cases its performance isn't very far from a 6600GT, with the other times being when it lags behind it. You should seriously consider upgrading the card. Do you have AGP or PCI-E?

Reply: (edit)I would say the problem is not your graphics card, it is most likely your RAM, BF2142 is very heavy on RAM (around 700mb). I know someone playing 2142 with a radeon 9600 and athlon 2500 on medium settings, it's OK for him. Try adding more RAM if you can get it. Reply: (edit)Yeah, that is quite common when entering the Titan, I also experience it. I learned to live with it, it doesnt bother me that much. Every time I first load up a map its constant "lag" all over the entire map, its not untill I have explored the whole map when every thing gets into system memory that the lag finally disappears. I notice that increasing my AGP aperture size to 256mb in my bios helps with loading parts of the map faster while in game. I run the game at the highest res my monitor can handle, 1400x900, with all settings maxed out. My system: Plain Jain vanilla PNY 6800 128mb, unlocked and overclocked: 410mhz on the core and 840mhz for mem, 16p;6vp. One gig of ram paired with an Prescott 520 overclocked @ 3.63Ghz. Abit IS7-E, i865-PE Chipset. Before eating, always take a little time to thank the food.

Reply: (edit)More memory would definitely help. Also, there have been complaints from many people that the Titans inherently make the game quite laggy. Expect this to be alleviated somewhat in future patches. I wish my lawn was emo so it would cut itself.
