I cannot believe that I forgot to mention that it would also be used for gaming. I am no longer a big time gamer but I still play Quake 3 to kill the time.

i use a dell 24 inch. it's rated @ 5ms but it honestly plays FLAWLESS. brand new they're like $650 but im sure they have ultra-shapr 22" monitors as well. then just craigslist it and check the model numbers or google shopping it and find some nice deals
