best gaming windows XP?

Not really. They all work basically the same as far as gaming goes.
Buy based on what features you need. What may be significant to you is the ability to host Remote Desktop connections. If that is, Home is ruled out. I would venture a guess that the features Pro has you don't probably need (namely the ability to join a domain based network), so that would lead you more towards MCE.
If you do listen to music, play a lot of DVD's, and want to do DVR stuff, MCE is awesome! Especially DVR, it's like a TiVo without the subscription fees!

cool, i went with MCE, my current comp also has it but i wasnt sure if i needed it, i have loads of music on this comp so i suppose it should be better if i would want music for my next one, so thanks for helping me decide =D
