And most people here are from the US. I don't know what 100 pounds is equal to in US dollars.

"resuming playing with Vista Beta 2"

I saw Vista running on a friend's rig. It was quite cool, and made Windows XP seem like DOS in comparison. But he said he was having problems with his wireless connection and X-Fi sound card.
It just so happens that I too have an X-Fi sound card and wireless connection, so I'm holding off till Vista hits store shelves.

The following countries use Pounds as currency: UK, Cyprus, Egypt, the Falklands, Gibraltar, Lebanon, Saint Helena, Sudan and Syria. All with their own exchange rate.

Someone forgot his medication this morning...

We were waiting for additional info. What good is it to tell him what's the best CPU for that money when we don't know which mobo he even has?

As Americans, selective ignorance has wholly imbibed 'itself' deep within our culture. I may not be proud of it, but that's the way it goes.

It's because the world revolves around the US, people! :-)

Seriously, it's basically because so much trade is done in American dollars we rarely need to exchange it to something else normally, and why so many other countries KNOW the exchange rate since they conduct so much business in American dollars themselves.
