I used the jackhammer (shoots like a shotgun weapon) to take down those rocket launcher guys. It takes about one clip for each one. (I killed all the monsters in the game). I think its impossible to run from them, THEY'LL GET CHA. :P.

One problem, i dont have the shotty! =( I dont think its in the stock room before you leave either... damn. i know it takes em out with a clip but its still tough when youve gotta take out 5 of those rifle trygems that have deadly aim while 10 rocket trigems are blasting at you and inching closer... i can't last more than a few minutes of fighting tooth-and-nail before i get myself killed. man i must really suck! =p -=Do not hunt what you cannot kill!=- -The grass is always greener where the dogs are always sh*tting-

nevermind, i beat Far Cry today. I just strafe-charged those rocket Trygems with the MachineGun and somehow managed to survive =D . ---The Statistics Mode that appears after you beat the game doesnt seem to keep the stats that you get after beating each level again... so what is the point of the Statistics Mode if it doesnt save the stats? -=Do not hunt what you cannot kill!=-

Also completed far cry today. Last level is excellent, but this is were the game exceeds all the other FPS. I was having trouble taking out the rocket trygems, when i had a brainwave. Cause the physics engine is so good, u can use items to your advantage. Check this out! When u have to open the cargo doors, the first door u open shuts behind u and u cant run back in. But, when u collect all your weapons and ammo in the storage room, push a couple of chairs along to the first cargo door,open it,then push the chairs in line with the floor. Cargo doors cant close, u can open the second one, lure the trygems to the doors, run off, shoot them from a distance and even go and refill your ammo! This is how bloody good the game is!!!! O yeah, sometimes when the doors keep trying to close, it gradually pushes the chair away, but if u place them right, the level gets a lot easier. Try it and tell me what u think!

I beat far cry in about 5 days and it was quite challenging. There is a dead spot in front of those big trigems, just too far away for them to swipe you but close enough so their rockets seem to just fly by you. Plus just before the last volcano level you get a hand held version of those mounted machine guns that mow those guys down in about 2 or 3 seconds. 30 bullets later mind you but still quick.

I just beat farcry about 10 min. ago...and its such a great game...for some reason i decided to start the game on medium difficulty...big mistake, but i stuck with it and after about 30 tries on each of the last 3 levels or so i beat it :)...anyway at the volcano, i sniped the guy on the far left first, then took out the first rocket guy by using the heavey duty machinge gun to the head, which i have found to be very efficient and managed to take out all of the rest that way too (i sniped the jumpy trigen guys after taking out the rocket guys)...i even had only 1/4 of my health left when i opened the door on the far side and there were two more...i still managed to take both of them out without getting hurt by head (more like upper body) shots...whew i was so glad when i got to that save point at the top, and figured out doyle wasn't going to be another huge boss (i think there are about 6 "almost endings" to the game, that just get topped by harder stuff)...but other than the extreme difficulty this is tied with halo and doom 2 as my all-time favorite fps.(im shure doom 3 and half-life 2 will cause me to update my list) "if you need 10 bucks ask for 20"

I beat Far Cry on Realistic Mode in 15 hours, someone show me up. What is Statistics mode? I am the best MF Gamer in the world. No one can beat me.
