What i did was as soon as u plant the bomb i jumped off that end of the boat and swam to the little island that has a ship wreck on it. all you have to do is kill the gunner and copters goes away

Well there are 2 good ways to bring down the Heli.. 1. Notice there is a guy with a machine gun beating the crap out of you from the helicopter.. if you manage to kill him he will fall down from the Heli, This will make the hali fly away so it wont bother you anymore:-) 2. On the front of the ship (on the lowest deck) there is a huge machine gun.. if you can run to it before the Heli kills you, the heli is doomed. when using this machine gun, again try to target the machinegun guy shooting at you.
