The 9550 will run BF2...how well will depend on whether you have the 128-bit version or the 64-bit version.

FYI, the 9550 is actually an underclocked 9600. Using ATiTool, you can easily overclock the GPU from 250MHz to 325MHz without any worries. Set up a profile using the 325MHz GPU setting & use it for gaming...use the default settings when not gaming.

YES, the 9550 will run BF2 but, for the best results, take Jam's advice and OC it. The 9550 is a pretty poor card by todays standards but you can compensate a little by OC'ing. The 9550 is a decent card for overclocking.
