Battlefield 2 intallation failure

I just bought BF2, but when I tried to install it, it would work fine until it hit "Dalian_plant/client.zip", then it said- "failed to install, please retry", or something like that. I tried again 3 more times, and the same thing happens each time. What is wrong? i was able to install and play the demo just fine.

I read that if you have the Demo on your computer, it may not install. Is this true?

Demos can fiddle around with your files quite a bit.
Try Uninstalling it.

Ive had the same problems, up to 5 times tryin to install the game because of a new harddrive. i cleaned the discs, which didnt have almost any scarthes on them, and i tried to install it throught my dvd drive. its doing that now. IT WORKS! "insert disc 2" if you have a dvd drive (i have the 3 discs (pccd)) and it works in the dvd drive. awesome. thanks guys!
