Target Minimum Specification Machine:
1.7 Ghz CPU
512 Megabytes of RAM
128 MB video card (must support 1.4 shaders)

Recommended Specification Machine:
2.66 Ghz CPU
1024 Megabytes of RAM
256 MB video card

If you want to run this game smoothly then you are going to need to meet the second set of requirements.

I can't speak for ATI, but the Nvidia 6600GT would suit this game. Though it is not a 256mb video card, it is adequate in performance.

Also, be sure to upgrade your RAM to 1024 if you plan on playing games like this in the future.

Your CPU & video card are both supported...you don't state how much RAM you have. You're probably gonna have to run it on low, possibly medium settings

That RAM will be fine.

On the Nvidia side the card I mentioned above will be fine. The 6600GT can be had for under $150 now. Check out www.newegg.com. I have the XFX 6600GT and it runs my games well.

If you're not comfortable with overclocking or have never done it before then upgrade to the P4 and GT. You stand to lose less money that way.

BTW, you don't have to get the XFX, any version will do. I'm sure there are some companies that make less expensive versions of that card.
