Every time i try to join a game it says wrong version would i like to update?? What i would like to know is what patch should i download and how do i transfer it to Battlefield??????

Download the 274 MB patch if you do not have 1.5 installed. All you need to do is 1. download the patch you need 2. run the .exe file you downloaded, this will automatically update the game to the latest version 3. When the patch is done installing, you can play. Keep in mind, some servers have not updated to the latest version. You can see the version being played in a specific server by clicking the arrow below the server menu.

I am having issues with patching Battlefield 1942. have it patched to 1.45 but every patch I try to install says the file is corrupt and to verify the souce. This hapes with the new 1.6 from all of the sites I have tried, the incrmentals I have tried have also given the same answers. A friend had the ame issue but found a patch that worked for him but after burning the same patch it still caused the same message on my machine. The single player works well and even with the Road to Rome I can play in single player I just cannot play in multiplayer thats beyond 1.45. I have a new board, Intel 3 Gig, 1 Gig of 3400 RAM, Audigy sound and an NVIDIA GForce 4 FX 5200. I was able to play it up to about 6 weeks ago, then when I needed to patch it it just stopped working ??? Totally lost and helpless now!
