If your usb mouse stops moving is it good unplug and move to a different usb while your computer is still on?

If u unplug and plug the mouse back in it wont harm it, thats the idea of usb. 512mb ram should hav no problems unless the quality of it is real bad or it has been damaged. It mite be some s--- on ur comp like spyware or sumthin that may be causin the problem...
