I got Need for Speed ProStreet game, it runs in very low FPS, it looks much choppy, I tried to use Win XP instead of Vista, it doesn't work too. Even if I try with the lowest quality settings it runs in BAD Performance. I updated my display driver twice, Is my computer that much low ? My PC Spec:- Pentium 4 @ 2.8 GHz 1GB RAM nVidia 7600GS 512 MB (AGP 8/4) Currently using Windows XP MCE MBoard built-in sound.

u have a decent video card, however its AGP which is going to severly limit the performance. also, is this computer prebuilt? if so the psu might not be able to sufficiently power everything. No it's not, I collected every part, and the PSU was recently changed, the problem isn't in the Video Card, cause, Test Drive Unlimited which is more powerful game was working 100% in the same PC, I think that the game requirements was bit under-estimated. The odd thing happens that I get very good FPS in the game in some races with Max quality settings while in others the FPS get much lower, means, FPS is variable. If this game isn't suit for this PC, can you tell me a game that's the same type of NFS ProStreet that works good ? Thanks.

The 7600GS is actually a pretty bad video card. Look for a better video card that is AGP, such as this : http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...

Actually, I got this video card recently too, it was a replace after Radeon 9250 card. And of course I can't change it again, so, if this video card isn't powerful enough for this game, what's the name of other games of the same type of this that might work here ?
