Hi Folks-
I play guild wars constantly, if any of you know this game, you're familiar with the err=7 kick.. it seems to be some sort of disconnection on my internet connection, but I really can't validate it.. I'm using a d-link wireless router, model DI-524, it doesn't seem to matter is someone is using a wireless laptop, or not.. it's totally random, I get kicked quite frequently some nights, then not at all on others. It's frustrating, and I would really like some insight as to why this happens to me more frequently than most, it sucks to get kicked out of the game during an intense guild battle.. any input or questions for me are appreaciated..thanks.

Appears to be a network routing issue. It may not even be your ISP's fault.

Another forum someone said disabling ZoneAlarm fixes it. However, be careful to do that. You should run a software firewall even with the router you have which has a firewall. So disable it if you're running it, test it, and if it doesn't work, enable it again. If this does solve your problem, look at switching software firewalls. I'd recommend either the Windows Firewall or if you want more advanced protection, Kerio is good.
