It will reset the PC or I get the blue screen.

Optimize your CPU Performance

"3.Drivers, Patches, Firmwares
Whenever you have lock-ups, crashes, and freezes, any CPU Expert would tell you to download & install the latest updates/drivers for your hardware. This includes your video card, motherboard, and sound cards. This is very important, because if you do not install the latest drivers you are bound to experience many problems. Windows Updates are also very important. Each update could improve your Security, increase your CPU performance, and solve a lot of bug issues."

Oh oops, forgot to add something. this problem of yours could be caused by overheating so open up your cpu case, put a fan in there and see if that helps. what does it say when you get a bsod?(Blue screen of death)
