You already asked about this. Unless someone actually has this card, there's no way of knowing what the FPS will be. Nobody runs benchmarks on standard PCI cards anymore & any benchmarks results you find with the PCI-e version of the 9400GT won't be comparable because the PCI-e bus runs 3 times the speed of PCI, plus it's a dedicated bus...PCI is a shared bus. Any current benchmarks will be with modern CPUs, motherboard chipsets, RAM, etc.

Here's an article about the Radeon HD4670, but if you look at the charts, you'll see where the 9400GT ranks. Keep in mind that this is a modern system (Core 2 Duo, 2GB DDR2, Intel P35 board, PCI-e X16 graphics slot) so your results won't be nearly as good:

Call of Duty 4 benchmark results

As I told you in your other thread, there aren't many cards better for the PCI bus so all you can do is get it & hope for the best.

As for the onboard video, yes, you will have to enter the BIOS & disable it, disable any memory sharing & change the "Initial Display 1st" setting from integrated to PCI. And there may be drivers that need uninstalling as well.

well i can play some maps smoothly in CS:S with my onboard intel 82865g graphics controller so i think it would be pretty good.

It will run the game fine, most likely at the highest possible settings. CS:S isn't a demanding game.

If anything.. your CPU will be a bottleneck in CS:S.
