Comment: Hey guys, i just sold my BFG 6600 GT OC because i wanted something better, and i was wondering if i get a Radeon X700 256MB for about $180 would that be a good bang for the buck? and is the any better than the 6600 GT because i heard GT series and the X series are the same so i don't wanna buy an equivelant card to 6600 i want something better should i get the x700 or just go for the x800 pro? any help appriciated Thanks!

Reply: (edit)What!? Why did you sell? That card is better than in most games than a x700, plus I think they only make them in pci-e, not agp so you probably couldnt upgrade to one anyway. If you've already sold it, I'd reccomend something from the geforce 6800 (AGP) range. AMD Barton 3200 1024mb PC3200 Ram Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb A7N8X-E Deluxe

Reply: (edit)Yeah i would recommend an X800 series card, from my personal experience, there really isn't that much real world difference between the comparable 6 series and X series cards, just pick a level (eg 6800 GT or X800XT), and find a brand that offers a good package, games software etc
