ATI sure has a habbit of keeping older technology alive. First it was the PCI version of the X1300 and now it's the AGP version of the X1950 Pro.

I assume it will outpreform the 7800GS AGP, because this is the one of the best ATI graphics card on a AGP form factor.

Wow, I really beleived that the 7800GS would be the last high performance AGP card made and I was even surprised when I heard about it coming out. I agree with sabertooth, most of theese cards will probably be placed in boards with slower processors and crappy chipsets. Although, it will probably create some pretty odly configured setups that may perform fairly well.

I will split 5 cents evenly between you guys if this isnt the last high performance AGP card made...

Hey the way ATI likes to hang on to older technology don't be surpirsed if ATI creates a PCI direct X 10 graphics card, let alone an AGP direct X 10 graphics card.

I don't know man an S754 Neforce 3 is still a pretty good chipset and the vast majority of those had AGP slots. Throw in a Athlon 64, 2 gb of ram and this card and your still rockin and rolling into the next couple of years.
