I've been trying to run Age of Mythology: The Titans over the LAN I have set up in my house, over a router. The 2 computers trying to play have fully updated the game, yet when they attempt to connect in a LAN game in AOM, no matter who is hosting, the game says that they're different versions and they cant continue. Both computers are running the game from the same disks and serial numbers. Is this a router problem or what?

Using the same serial number could be the problem. Try reinstalling the game in one of the PCs using a different SN.

AMD Athlon XP 2700+
Asus A7V600-X
512 MB of DDR RAM
GeForce FX 5200 (256 MB)
Seagate 120 GB SATA

NO you can use the same serial number -- just reinstall the 1.X patch or whatever on all machines.
