Hello again
Is it normal that me, casual gamer, bought a computer 2 months ago and i'm already "planing" on buying a new graphics card?
All people that like computer (games) are like this, or is it just me? I feel, "It would be so great if i got an 8800GT" but on the other hand "I just bought my computer 2 months ago..."
Best Regards
PS:if this is too unrelated to this computer forum, tell me and il not mention this here anymore.

Judging from your constant posts, you are NOT a "casual" gamer. You border on being "hardcore", meaning that you play games a LOT & you play a LOT of different games, plus you want to run them on the highest settings.
As you were planning your build, you asked about several different video cards. Two others I believe were the 8800GTS & the X1950XT? Both of them are better than the 8600GTS. The X1950XT doesn't support DX10 but if you're using XP for gaming, it wouldn't matter.
If you're unhappy with the performance of the 8600GTS, sell it now while it still has a decent resell value. With the new cards hitting the market (i.e., 8800GT & HD3800 series), the value of lesser cards is gonna drop.

I totally understand where your coming from wanting to buy more, im just like you, i just got a new computer, but i want another 22 inch monitor, another 8800 gts, and another 320 gb hdd, and with black friday tomorrow, that might happen :)

ive said it b4 & i'll say it again. spend the dough...have fun and get what you want. yes we're all insane here, but who isn't. The 8800GT is a good value.
