Comment: Anyone here know how to get AvP working on my 6600GT? Seen a few posts on other sites with my problems: The game *runs* fine, but renders no textures, only light coronos and the hud. All you see is the hud overlayed on a black screen. Seems to be an issue with the newer 7xxx series Nvidia cards. *XP SP1 (don't ask)/Athlon XP2500/XFX6600GT 128MB/1GB Ram (PC3200)*

Reply: (edit)SP1? Its simply because you can't receve windows updates (don't really wonder why....) But if the issue was so big to be affecting all the 6600's all you could do is either wait for a patch from the video company or NVidia to update there drivers. But it doesn't sound like all 6600's are effected. Reply: (edit)1) I'm not using ME, but XP. The "Me" refers to the system manufactorer... ie I built the system myself <_<. 2) I think that the AvP bug affects all the 6xxx series cards (judging from other posts I have found), though I have only myself seen this bug on my 6600GT and my housemate's 6800 Ultra. By the sounds of it, noone's got round this yet. I guess I'm at the mercy of NVidia *joy*. Anyone come up with something, please let me know!
