Just picked up AvP gold edition and as always I like to check for patches before I start any game. I checked around on several sites in Google and all I can find are map updates. One site in particular had an update for all 15 maps in one patch. My questions are: *Do I need these map updates? *Is there another patch (other than maps) for this pc game? *What are the benefits of having the Gold Edition? *Should I do the complete map update (if needed) or just download a certain map? Thanks

There IS a patch, it's called "Build 98" which will patch the original version (Build 90) up to date, ahem. But as is the case with most "Gold" or "Game Of The Year" releases, it should already be patched up for you. I don't suffer from insanity, I embrace it.
