If a game requires and AGP Video Card - and I have a PCI, could that cause the game to crash on installation?

Only if it didn't meet the requirements or something obscure like that, I'd say its more of an issue on your end myself, whats the game, was it purchased and how do you upkeep your pc?

It is MVP Baseball 2004 - It loaded fine on my old machine which was slower and had less RAM . . for some reason on this machine it loads the first disk and locks up after it asks for the second. The only requirement I don't meet is that it asks for a AGP video card, but I didn't think that should make a difference as long as the video card met specs. I am using a GeForce 5500 256 MB video card, it only asks for a NVIDIA GeForce 2 or greater.
Any suggestions?

Make sure windows is up to date, and that your video/motherboard/hardware drivers are up to date, often times there is an issue with a game that a simple update will fix.
