Comment: Hey guys. My friend is looking for a video card so he can play some newer games. His AGP slot is 4x. What is the ABSOLUTE BEST card that we could get right now for his computer? I mean, I hate to sound dumb, but I'm really not that educated on video cards in general. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814102679 That one seems good, no? Point me in the right direction! =) Thanks.

Reply: (edit)http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814103005 That seems to be the best card available right now. I am basing this entirely on the fact that it has 512MB of memory as opposed to the 256 of every other card I've been recommended. By the way, the computer is a Pavilion A220N.

Reply: (edit)Buying the X1600 Pro is a waste of money because your remaining system component is not at par with the video card. 512MB means is meaningless with your system, if I was you, what I'd get is below. http://www.chiefvalue.com/app/productdetails.asp?submit=search&item=14-121-197 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121197 When Google isn't your best pal
