Comment: I am considering buying Age of Empires 3 but the info says I need 1.4GHz processor. The info I found regarding my system says CEL 800. Will this be adequate do you think?
I have upgraded the RAM and video card and have enough space on the hard drive.

Reply: (edit)Ahhh... Well I used to run programs on my Athlon 600Mhz that said they required 1.4GHz processors. But I did have A Radion 9550 in the old beast as well as a brand new hard drive. But I recently installed Age Of Empires 3 Trial on my computer which is a 2.2GHz Sempron with 1Gb of ram and a crappy 64bit FX5500. Still my computer didnt play the game very well at all, so I doubt a 800MHz Celeron could do very well at all. Still that dosent mean you shouldent try right? I suggest you download the Age of Empires 3 Trial install it and see how your computer handles it on low settings. I dont think your PC will run it though. Good luck.
