I'm about ready to build a new computer and my knowledge is way outdated. This is a "first draft" of different components and could use any advice anyone can offer. Anything from pointing to good deals to advice on specific components. I especially want to make sure everything will work together and be able to play the latest games. Thanks

Just realized I forgot the optical drive, I'll have to find one.

Look at boards based on the Intel P35 chipset. And compare the prices at newegg.com
