Acess denied installing a pc game

Hi, I have a call of duty 2 game for windows xp. I just bought a new Windows vista pc. Everytime i try to download the game to the pc it just says" acess denied". i installed some virus protection "webroot" and enable gaming mode but still dont work. I need help can someone give me some info on what to do?

You might be getting the error message because you already have the game registered for your XP machine. Correct me if I'm wrong there, but all online installations authenticate your installation of the game and installing to another PC would require you to purchase the game again. If you didn't already install the game once, disable your anti-virus software completely or run a scan on the download to make sure there's nothing wrong with it. Make sure you're signed in as an administrator (which you should be as you're likely the only user on the PC) and check your firewall settings. See if any of that helps, if not you'll have to contact the website and tell them you're having difficulty downloading the game.

2. You can not install anything on the computer if you do not have administrator rights to the HD. Login with the admin account to install anything.
