Hi just bought the new desperate housewives game n it tells me on install menu that i need Accel video software to make it work, can anyone help me with this? Amber

I think what you mean is you need 3D graphics acceleration. In other words, your video card isn't up to the task. You need to upgrade the hardware, not software.

your computer needs hardware dedicated to video processing (aka a "graphics/video card").

is this system a laptop? with laptops, you're generally stuck with the hardware it came with, because all of the components are designed so small as to only fit with other parts from that manufacturer.

if this is a desktop, you need to know if the motherboard has an AGP slot, PCI-express 16x slot, or just a few PCI slots. then you need to find a video card that will plug into that slot, and that your power supply can support.

people here can help with more details on that part, but first we need to know:

desktop or laptop?

(if desktop) - make/model of motherboard? PCI, AGP, or PCI-express slot?

We can't help without knowing what hardware you have. Try running SIW (System Information for Windows) & see if it will identify the make/model of your motherboard. Get the "stand alone" version. There's no installation involved, just download & double click on it:
