Comment: hi all ive recently bought a 9800xt/256mb and since it was installed cod/uo keeps shutting down and i get an error report.It will only let me play a couple of matches then dies on me.powerpack is a KY-500ATX 400W P4 sumEvision is this good enough to run this card. also will messing with voltage help this is all i can think of as i tried everything else

Reply: (edit)Sounds like a pretty generic power supply. It could very well be that. First off, what do you mean by "die"? What wxactly happens? Spontaneously reboots? Blue screen? Reply: (edit)Most occurences with this error in games appear to be video adapter related. Could be the power supply causing this. Have you updated your graphics card drivers and motherboard chipset drivers? If so, I'd test the power supply with a multimeter. Please help survivors of Hurricane Katrina...err...Rita.
