i purchased a dell xps 600 that came with dual 7800 GTX's. this system was faulty so i traded it in for a new xps 600. with this model, which was newer by a few months, i received dual 7900 GS's.
im not sure whether i had a better GPU setup with dual 7800 GTX's or 7900 GS's. can someone get me a link to the specs on these or tell me which setup was more productive?

ik kan het fout hebben maar naar mijn weten bestaat er geen 7900GS

Are you guys not aware of this site called Google, its really great, you can like do research for stuff on it... geez

The GeForce 7900GS from Dell has 20 pixel processors, 7 vertex processors, 256-bit memory bus, and comes clocked at approximately 470 MHz/1320 MHz for core/memory, is powered by the newer G71 graphics chip and most importantly uses only 20W at peak (about half the 7800GTX's consumption).
GeForce 7800GTX on the other hand has 24 pixel processors, 8 vertex processors, 256-bit memory bus, and comes clocked at approximately 430 MHz/1200 MHz for core/memory & is powered by the G70 graphics chip.
Looking at the above, you'd notice a little give & take in the characteristics of the two dual cards but to sum it all up, you should stick with the dual 7900GS because it is a better deal overall.
