What do you mean how much bigger is the 7800GTX than the 7300GT? Physically? Performance wise - no contest the 7300GT is the low end of things and the 7800GTX is higher end.

What can beat the 7800GTX?
The 7900GT-GTX
The 7950GX2
The X1900XTX
And probably the X1800XTX but not sure.
The graphics card industry moves very fast, things change very quickly and you gotta keep up. I remember when the Radeon 9800Pro was king, it really wasnt that long agao when you think about it.

7800GTX is a lot better. the 7300GT is more of a budget card.

there are better cards, like the 7900GT 7900GTX

and there are some ATi cards which will do better in gaming than a 7800GTX

AMD Athlon 64 3700+
Gigabyte K8NSC-939
1Gb Team Group DDR400

Now come now my friend, buying a 7800gtx is making a strong statement. Unless you devote your life entirely to gaming, (double L, double O es e and A r!0) you would be better off buying a Geforce 6200, trust me amigo it will save you big money, big time.

PS> ofcourse there are better cards IN THE WHOLE WORLD than the 7800gtx, like the ummmm... oh i know! THe 7900gtx! or ummm...the ATI RADEON x1900XTX maybe??! Yeah i think so!
