I'm not always right...just ask my ol lady...lol!

Here's a recent comparison of PCI-E cards. There is no X800 Pro on the list, but there is the X800, X800XL, & X800XT. The lead seems to change back & forth between them & the 6800, depending on the benchtest:

Unless you're a Half Life 2 nut, I'd go with the 6800.

i agree with hero...you will get better performance out of the 6800 and better quality of video out of the x800... i know for a fact i went from a x800 to a BFG 6800 GT and it smokes my old ATI card... and why not SLI Jam, i am gonna pick up another GT here in a month or 2 and run them SLI, you supposed to get awesome performance out of it...

yup!

Because most people don't spend $400+ on graphics card(s) for one system.

Hey, if you wanna spend more for an SLI board (you obviously already did) & then spend $350 +/- each for 2 video cards just to add another 20FPS to a game that you're already getting 80-90FPS on, by all means, knock yourself out...it's your money!

It's called real life! I have bills to pay, etc!

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll go back to figuring out how to blow $1,000 on a home theater receiver without my wife cutting me up into bite sized pieces.

It's a proven medical fact that husbands usually die before their wives. You know why?

Because they want to! :-P
