Hi. I recently bought a 6600GT AGP not that long ago. When i bought it at monarch computer company less than a month ago, the only game i had installed on my computer was really mvp baseball 2005 and madden 2004, which i dont play much during baseball season. Anyway, in mvp i would not really notice it that much at the higher resolutions, but at 800x600, i am seeing these white like lines around the players and it looks liek there is something wrong. I recently got republic commando and CS:S. I notice it in CS:s a lot since im playing at 800x600. Like fences and stuff are all weird looking...its hard to explain ill try and post pix later. I also notice this rarely in repub commando which i play at 1024xwhatever.
Ive tried everything. Different drivers, omega drivers, turning up Antistropic filtering, reinstalling directx 9.0c, everything. So, what should i do? is it the graphics card thats defective? Thx

Do you have an LCD monitor?

here are some quick screenshots. You can tell what i mean by the white lines by the railing. I also notice a lot of shimmering of teh grass, buildings, and other things.

I don't see anything unusual, but they're so small of pics, I can't see much of anything. :-/

lol...wow, are you playing your games on a cell phone or something i cant even tell what game its a screen shot of.

White abnormal graphic anomalies are usally the result of overheating. How are your temps doing? And why are you playing games at a res of 800x600 with a 6600gt? you should be able to handle CS:S at 1280x1024, with all details maxed out!! thats what I run it at, and I have a 9800 the 6600gt is way faster then my card.

abit is7 i856pe

FSB @ 1144Mhz
512x2 in dual config @ 430mhz
9800 se unlocked & clocked @ 444mhz/800mhz
